Roman candles, skyrockets, helicopter rockets, cylindrical and cone fountains, wheels, torches, dipped sticks, mines and shells, firecrackers with soft casings, and novelties (size limitations specified). |
Specifically prohibited |
All fireworks that are not defined as salable consumer fireworks. |
Age to purchase |
18 years of age |
DISPLAY FIREWORKS |

Display Permit |
Apply to State Fire Marshal. |
Insurance |
Required. Minimum $1,000,000 for personal injury and death, minimum $500,000 for property damages. |
Operator |
State certification required. Pyrotechnics operator must take written test. |
MANUFACTURE, STORAGE, TRANSPORTATION |

LICENSING |
Annual wholesale and retail licenses required. Apply to State Fire Marshal. Annual wholesale license fee $50, retail $10 every two years. |
