Items that comply with regulations of the CPSC, DOT definitions and trick noisemakers. |
Specifically prohibited |
Manufacture, possession, sale or use of “illegal ground salutes,” fireworks containing more than 2 grains of explosive composition. |
Selling period |
June 20-July 10 and December 15-January 2 Sales from tents or motor vehicles are prohibited. |
Age of purchase |
16 years, unless accompanied by adult. |

Apply to the State Fire Marshal at least 10 days before display date. (The Marshal may accept late applications if a higher application fee is paid.) |

Safe storage areas as specified in law. |

Annual licenses required, by calendar year expiring December 31. Apply to State Fire Marshal. Minimum age 18 years.
